CBP Posts Updated EDI Message Drafts For ACE Release 4 - Truck Manifest
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted to its Web site new or modified Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messages for Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Release 4 - Truck Manifest.

CBP has previously stated that these types of EDI messages are being released as an initial advisory to the trade of the anticipated messages to be used in future releases of ACE. CBP notes that these messages may change or be modified over time.

CBP Shut Down ACE Release 4 Truck Manifest Pilot Test in Blaine, WA
CBP recently shut down the ACE Release 4 Truck Manifest pilot test, which had been running in Blaine, WA since December 11, 2004. In its notice announcing the shut down, CBP states that it expects, after system enhancements, the ACE electronic truck manifest to return to Blaine, WA for a second "pilot" test.
