U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced that the 2005 tariff-rate quota (TRQ) on dried milk as provided for in HTS Chapter 4, Additional U.S. Note (AUSN) 7 will open on Monday, January 3, 2005 at 12 noon E.S.T., or its equivalent in other time zones with a low-duty quantity of 5,261,000 kg. CBP notes that imports described in HTS Chapter 4, AUSN 7 are subject to agriculture licensing. 2. 2005 TRQ on Dried Milk and Dried Cream Opens January 3, 2005

CBP has announced that the 2005 TRQ on dried milk and dried cream as provided for in HTS Chapter 4, AUSN 8 will open on Monday, January 3, 2005 at 12 noon E.S.T., or its equivalent in other time zones with a low-duty quantity of 3,321,300 kg. CBP notes that imports described in HTS Chapter 4, AUSN 8 are subject to agriculture licensing. CBP has announced that the 2005 TRQ on animal feed containing milk or milk derivatives as provided for in HTS Chapter 23, AUSN 2 will open on Monday, January 3, 2005 at 12 noon E.S.T., or its equivalent in other time zones with the below-listed countries having the following low-duty quantities:

4. Weekly Quota Commodity Report as of December 20, 2004

CBP has issued its weekly quota commodity report as of December 20, 2004. This report includes tariff-rate quotas (TRQs) on various products such as beef, tuna, sugar, dairy products, peanuts, cotton, cocoa powder, tobacco, certain JFTA, NAFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA TRQs, etc. This report also includes the AGOA, ATPDEA, CBTPA, NAFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA tariff preference levels (TPLs) for qualifying apparel and/or other textile articles, the TRQs on worsted wool fabrics under HTS 9902.51.11 & 9902.51.12, etc. (CBP's weekly quota commodity report, dated 12/20/04, available at http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/import/textiles_and_quotas/commodity/)
