CBP Updates its List of NVOCC Sea AMS Participants
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted to its Web site an updated list of non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) participants in the Sea Automated Manifest System (AMS). CBP's list of NVOCC Sea AMS participants is updated as of August 17, 2004.

In addition, the following lists of AMS carriers are availablefrom CBP's Web site:
Air AMS carrier participants and their associated ports (updated as of 03/25/04)
Rail AMS carrier participants and their associated ports (updated as of 12/02)
CBP notes that all Sea AMS participants are required to be automated and therefore a detailed listing of Sea AMS participants and their discharge ports is no longer necessary.
New Individual AMS Participants Also Announced in Administrative MessagesCBP also announces to the trade community the addition of individual sea, air, and rail AMS participants, as well as NVOCC Sea AMS participants through the issuance of ABI administrative messages.
