CBP states that pursuant to this notice, merchandise of Serbia and Montenegro has been entitled to Normal Trade Relations (Column 1) duty rates as of December 4, 2003. ISO Code "YU" Must be Used for Serbia and Montenegro
On February 5, 2004, CBP issued a memorandum entitled, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Code for Serbia and Montenegro, which addressed problems regarding the automation of their ISO code.
CBP states that this administrative message serves as a reminder that filers are to use the code "YU" for importations whose country of origin is Serbia and Montenegro and not the currently issued ISO Code of "CS".
