(CBP notes that this programming/software change will provide for easier, immediate recognition of entry summaries which are designated for payment under the periodic monthly statement process.)

Programming/Software Change Must Be in Place Within 90 Days of July 12, 2004

The administrative message and CBP sources state that this programming/software change must be in place within 90 days of July 12, 2004, and consists of using an "ABI/P" indicator in block 2 of the CF 7501 for all entry summaries designated for payment under the periodic monthly statement.

CBP states that as with the existing indicators used in block 2 of the CF 7501, this "ABI/P" indicator will allow for immediate recognition of the payment type for that ABI entry summary.
