Counterv

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its changed circumstances reviews of the countervailing (CV) duty orders on certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products and cut-to-length carbon steel plate products from Germany. As a result, the ITA is revoking these CV duty orders for entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after April 1, 2004.

(The ITA states that it is taking this action because, among other things, the producers accounting for substantially all of the production of the domestic like products to which these CV duty orders pertain, lack interest in the relief provided by the CV duty orders.)

Suspension of Liquidation to be Terminated Effective April 1, 2004

The ITA states that it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to terminate suspension of liquidation for subject merchandise effective April 1, 2004.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order. See ITT's Online Archives or 02/02/04 news, (Ref:04020250) for BP summary of preliminary results.)
