CBP Updates its Lists of NVOCC Sea AMS Participants and Sea and Air AMS Carriers

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted to its Web site updated lists of Automated Manifest System (AMS) sea and air participants and their associated ports (if applicable), as well as non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) Sea AMS participants.

The following individual lists have been recently updated and are now availablefrom Customs' Web site:

Non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) participants in Sea AMS (updated as of 03/26/04)

Sea AMS carrier participants and their direct discharge ports (updated as of 04/06/04)

Air AMS carrier participants and their associated ports (updated as of 03/25/04)

CBP's List of Rail AMS Participants and Ports Not Updated

CBP also makes available on its Web site a list of AMS rail participants and their associated ports; however, that has not been updated since December 2002.

New Individual AMS Participants Also Announced in Administrative Messages

CBP also announces to the trade community the addition of individual sea, air, and rail AMS participants, as well as NVOCC Sea AMS participants through the issuance of ABI administrative messages.
