Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of CBP (COAC) to Meet on April 2, 2004
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a notice announcing that the next meeting of the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (COAC) will be held on April 2, 2004 in Washington, DC. (This committee was previously called the "Treasury Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of the U.S. Customs Service.")

According to CBP, at the April 2, 2004 meeting, COAC is expected to pursue the following agenda (subject to change):
Update on Agriculture Subcommittee Activities
Update on the International Trade Data System (ITDS)
Update on Security Subcommittee Activities (Advance Cargo Information, Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), Vehicle and Cargo Inspection System (VACIS)
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Reorganization (status, COAC opportunity to respond)
Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 (MTSA) Implementation Subcommittee
Update on Focused Assessment Program/Importer Self-Assessment
