(a) Companies other than the 14 listed above, will either be subject to an earlier final results of a CV duty review or the "all others" rate established in the original CV duty investigation. The ITA notes that the "all others" rate is expected to change in a future final results of a CV duty expedited reviews. Rescission of CV Duty Expedited Review for Seven Companies
In the preliminary results, the ITA rescinded the CV duty expedited reviews of five companies: Kootenay Innovate Wood Inc. (Round 1, Group 1); Lukwa Mills Ltd., South East Forest Products Ltd., Teal Cedar Products Ltd. (Round 2, Group 2); and West Fraser Mills Ltd. (Round 2, Group 1).
In these final results the ITA is rescinding the CV duty expedited reviews for an additional two Round 1 Group 2 companies: Federated Co-operatives Ltd., and R. Fryer Forest Products.
Group 1 consists of companies that obtain the majority of their wood (over 50% of their inputs) from the U.S., the Maritime Provinces, Canadian private lands, and Canadian companies excluded from the order; as well as companies that source less than a majority of their wood from these sources and do not have tenure.
Group 2 consists of companies that source less than a majority of their wood from these sources and have acquired Crown timber through their own tenure contracts.
