Postponement of Preliminary AD Duty Determination

The ITA states that on February 13, 2004, Alcoa Inc., the petitioner, alleged that Hulett Aluminium (Pty) Limited is selling below its cost of production. Therefore, the ITA states that it is postponing the preliminary determination in order to provide sufficient time in which to consider this allegation and the potential complexities it may impose on the AD margin calculation should the ITA initiate a cost investigation.

(See ITA notice for more information. See ITT's Online Archives or 11/13/03 news, 03111330 for BP summary of the initiation of this AD duty investigation.)
