AD: China Floor Standing, Metal-Top Ironing Tables

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a notice stating that at the request of Shunde Yongjian Housewares Co., Ltd. Postponement of Final AD Duty Determination

The ITA states that at Yongjian's request it has also fully extended the provisional measures (suspension of liquidation and AD cash deposit/bond requirements) by an additional 60 days.

The ITA states that because the preliminary determination in this investigation was affirmative, the requesting exporter/producer accounts for a significant proportion of exports of subject merchandise, and no compelling reasons for denial exist, it is postponing the AD duty final determination in this investigation until no later than 135 days after February 3, 2004.

(See ITA notice for more information. See ITT's Online Archives or 02/04/04 news, 04020430 for BP summary of the preliminary affirmative AD duty determination for subject merchandise from China.)
