AD Duty Investigations Terminated

The ITA states that it is terminating these investigations as the petitioner, Kerr-McGee Chemical LLC, withdrew its AD petitions regarding electrolytic manganese dioxide from Australia, Greece, Ireland, Japan, and South Africa.

(The International Trade Commission's (ITC's) AD injury investigations 731-TA-1048 - 1053) will also be terminated. See ITT's Online Archives or 09/26/03 news, 03092630 for BP summary of the ITC's preliminary affirmative injury determinations in these investigations.)

Since the ITA's AD duty investigations did not make it past the initiation phase, suspension of liquidation did not occur for subject merchandise from these five countries.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the investigation. See ITT's Online Archives or 08/29/03 news, 03082940 for BP summary of the initiation of the AD duty investigations of subject merchandise from Australia, Greece, Ireland, Japan, South Africa, and China.
