The U.S. Association of Importers of Textiles and Apparel (USA-ITA) has issued a Textile Development Memo stating that the American Textile Manufacturers Institute (ATMI) and the American Yarn Spinners Association (AYSA) are contemplating a merge into a new group that would be known as the National Council of Textile Organizations. 3. Charter Renewed for the Marine Transportation System Advisory Council
The Maritime Administration (MARAD) has announced the charter renewal, effective January 27, 2004, for the Marine Transportation System National Advisory Council (MTSNAC), which advises on matters relating to the Marine Transportation System (MTS) - waterways, ports and their intermodal connections.
