AD Duty Investigation Terminated

The ITA states that it is terminating this investigation as the petitioners, Westnut LLC, Northwest Hazelnut Company, Hazelnut Growers of Oregon, Willamette Filbert Growers, Evergreen Orchards, and Evonuk Orchards, notified the ITA that they were no longer interest in seeking relief and were withdrawing their petition for certain processed hazelnuts from Turkey.

(The International Trade Commission's (ITC's) AD injury investigation (731-TA-1057) will also terminated. See ITT's Online Archives or 01/13/04 news, 04011330 for BP summary of the ITC's preliminary affirmative injury determination.)

Since the ITA's AD duty investigation did not make it past the initiation phase, suspension of liquidation did not occur for subject merchandise from Turkey.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the investigation. See ITT's Online Archives or 12/10/03 news, 03121040 for BP summary of the initiation of this AD duty investigation.)
