AD: Taiwan Stainless Steel Sheet and Strip in Coils

(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the original investigation, but the manufacturer is, the AD cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the merchandise.

(c) If neither the exporter nor the manufacturer is a firm covered in these or any previous reviews conducted by the ITA, the AD cash deposit rate will be the "all others" rate, which is 12.12%.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (07/01/01 - 06/30/02)

According to the ITA, it will determine and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will assess, AD duties on all appropriate entries. The ITA states that it has calculated an exporter/importer (customer)-specific AD assessment rate for merchandise subject to this review.

The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to CBP within 15 days of February 9, 2004.

Rescission of AD Duty Administrative Review for Ta Chen

The ITA states that it has made a final determination to rescind the AD duty administrative review of stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from Taiwan with respect to Ta Chen Stainless Steel Pipe Co. Ltd. (Ta Chen). The ITA further states that since Ta Chen did not participate in the original investigation, its AD cash deposit rate will remain 12.12%, the "all others" rate.
