AD: China Floor-Standing, Metal-Top Ironing Tables and Certain Parts Thereof

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has made a preliminary affirmative antidumping (AD) duty determination that floor-standing, metal-top ironing tables and certain parts thereof from China are being sold, or are likely to be sold, in the U.S. at less than fair value.

Preliminary Affirmative Antidumping Duty Determination

As a result, the ITA states that it is directing U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to suspend liquidation of all entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after February 3, 2004. At the same time, the ITA is instructing CBP to require a cash deposit or the posting of a bond equal to the rates below:

The ITA states that the China-wide rate applies to all entries of subject merchandise except for entries from Since Hardware, Yongjian, Forever Holdings, Harvest and Lihe.

The ITA states that it will make its final AD duty determination in this investigation no later than 75 days after February 3, 2004.
