Amended Final Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review China Tapered Roller Bearings and Parts Thereof, Finished and Unfinished A-570-601

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has amended its final results of the antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of tapered roller bearings and parts thereof, finished and unfinished from China for the period of June 1, 1997 through May 31, 1998 as there is now a final and conclusive court decision with respect to Luoyang Bearing Factory (Luoyang) and Premier Bearing and Equipment, Ltd. (Premier).

Amended Final Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review

Current Cash Deposit Rates for Luoyang and Premier Unaffected

The ITA states that it has determined that the revised rates of 5.15% (instead of 3.68%) for Luoyang and 24.55% (instead of 24.52%) for Premier exist for the review period of June 1, 1997 through May 31, 1998. However, these revisions do not affect the current AD cash deposit rates of zero for Luoyang and 33.18% for Premier established in the most recent review for each company.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (06/01/97 - 05/31/98)

The ITA states that it will issue appraisement instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and will instruct CBP to assess appropriate AD duties on the relevant entries of the subject merchandise covered by this review.
