AD: China Certain Non-Frozen Apple Juice Concentrate

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued its final results of the antidumping (AD) duty administrative and new shipper reviews of certain non-frozen apple juice concentrate from China for the period of June 1, 2001 through May 31, 2002. The ITA states that this review covers five producers or exporters and one producer/exporter.

new shipper review; bonding will no longer be permitted to fulfill security requirements.

(a) final AD rate of zero; no cash deposits will be required but suspension of liquidation will continue;

(b) for all previously-reviewed China and non-China exporters with separate rates, the cash deposit rate will be the company-specific rate established for the most recent period during which they were reviewed;

(c) for all other China exporters, including Changsha Industrial Products & Minerals Import and Export, Co. Ltd. the rate will continue to be the China-wide rate, which is 51.74%. In addition, the cash deposit rate for subject merchandise exported by Gansu Tongda but not produced by it will also continue to be the China-wide rate of 51.74%; and

(d) for all other non-China exporters of subject merchandise from China, the cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the China exporter that supplied that exporter.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (06/01/01 - 05/31/02)

According to the ITA, it will determine, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) shall assess, AD duties on all appropriate entries. The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to CBP within 15 days of December 22, 2003.
