FCC said it had divided payphone providers wanting to settle into 2 groups: (1) Those that have enough documentation to show what EUCL charges they paid and number of payphones they had during period at issue. (2) Those that haven’t retained adequate documentation. For first group, Bureau set June 6 deadline for informing defendants (LECs) that they wanted to explore settlement.
