The Port of Los Angeles has announced that U.S. District Judge Snyder issued a ruling on Aug. 26 in favor of the City of Los Angeles and the Port of Los Angeles in a lawsuit brought by the American Trucking Associations over the Port’s Clean Truck Program. The court awarded judgment in favor of the City of Los Angeles and ruled that the Concession Agreement provisions are enforceable.

CBP has issued a memorandum providing the country-specific in-quota allocations for the fiscal year 2011 raw cane sugar tariff rate quota. The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently announced that the raw cane sugar has been authorized to open a month early and will open on September 1, 2010. CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching their restraint limit or have filled their in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections: those that are at least 85% filled and those that are filled.
CBP has posted an updated list of non-vessel operating common carrier sea Automated Manifest System (AMS) participants.
CBP has posted an updated version of its Trade Support Network Leadership matrix, which lists all of the TSN committees and subcommittees with the Trade and CBP/Gov Co-Chairs and the ACE Support Team (AST) Business Leads. The matrix also includes a list of the current TSN Trade Ambassadors.
