The Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Maytag Corporation, have announced a voluntary recall of 1.7 million Maytag®, Amana®, Jenn-Air®, Admiral®, Magic Chef®, Performa by Maytag® and Crosley® brand dishwashers with plastic tubs and certain serial numbers due to a fire hazard.
The Bureau of Transportation Statistics reports that trade using surface transportation between the U.S., and Canada/Mexico was 37% higher in March 2010 than in March 2009, reaching $69.9 billion.
