Commissioner William Doyle will leave the Federal Maritime Commission Jan. 3, 2018, he said in a Nov. 27 news release. "I am looking forward to what comes next in my career," he said. Doyle didn't provide specifics on future plans.

Weisel is joining Rock Creek Global Advisors as a managing director, the economic policy advisory firm said.
Commissioner Joseph Mohorovic is leaving the Consumer Product Safety Commission effective Oct. 20, he said during a CPSC hearing on Oct. 18. Mohorovic will join Dentons as a principal in the law firm's federal regulatory compliance practice, he said. The departure of Mohorovic, a Republican who began his term in 2014, leaves the commission split 3-1 in favor of Democrats, according to a post on the law firm Mintz Levin's blog Consumer Product Matters.
