Search Primer

Multi-word term: Place inside quotes to ensure an exact match together (e.g. "forced labor").

Term list: Separate terms with spaces, not commas or semicolons to find either word (e.g. AD/CVD CBP).

Acronyms: Use all capital letters (e.g., ACE).

Required term: If a term must be included in any resulting articles, prefix it with a plus sign (e.g., tariffs +Canada).

Excluded term: If a term should be excluded from any articles being found, prefix it with a minus sign (e.g., FDA -alert).

Simplest form: Use the simplest form of a term (e.g. "metal" instead of "metals" or "entity list" instead of "entity listing" or "entity listed").

FDA Corrects Contact Info for Proposed Vending Machine Calorie Labels

The Food and Drug Administration is issuing a correction notice for its proposed rule to implement requirements for providing calorie information for certain articles of food sold from vending machines. FDA is correcting several errors in the proposed rule, including an incorrect contact phone number and an incomplete address. Comments on the proposed rule are due by July 5, 2011. EPA to Chair North America Environmental Cooperation Commission

The Environmental Protection Agency announces that Administrator Jackson has assumed leadership of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC), a partnership with Canada and Mexico that fosters conservation, protection and enhancement of the North American environment. EPA states that the three areas of priorities for the CEC for the next five years are: healthy communities and ecosystems; a low-carbon economy, and greening the economy in North America.
