Search Primer

Multi-word term: Place inside quotes to ensure an exact match together (e.g. "forced labor").

Term list: Separate terms with spaces, not commas or semicolons to find either word (e.g. AD/CVD CBP).

Acronyms: Use all capital letters (e.g., ACE).

Required term: If a term must be included in any resulting articles, prefix it with a plus sign (e.g., tariffs +Canada).

Excluded term: If a term should be excluded from any articles being found, prefix it with a minus sign (e.g., FDA -alert).

FWS Determines Not to Remove Certain Tiger Species from Endangered List

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announces its finding on a petition to remove the tiger (Panthera tigris) from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. FWS finds that the petition does not present substantial scientific or commercial information indicating that removing the species from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife may be warranted; therefore, it continues to prohibit mport, export, take, and interstate or foreign commerce of this species.

Commerce Announces June Good and Services Trade Deficit of $49.9B

The U.S. Census Bureau announced on August 11, 2010 that total June exports of $150.5 billion and imports of $200.3 billion resulted in a goods and services deficit of $49.9 billion, up from $42.0 billion in May, revised. June exports were $2.0 billion less than May exports of $152.4 billion. June imports were $5.9 billion more than May imports of $194.4 billion.

EPA Proposes Amendments to GHG Reporting Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule to amend certain of its greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting requirements under 40 CFR Part 98 which took effect in December 2009, pursuant to EPA’s October 2009 final rule establishing mandatory GHG reporting.

APHIS Animal Product PPQ Manual Updated
