The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on seamless refined copper pipe and tube from China (A-570-964). The agency made no changes from its preliminary results, continuing to find dumping by Hailiang and a zero AD rate for Golden Dragon. As such, Commerce will direct CBP to liquidate entries of merchandise from Golden Dragon without regard to AD duties, and will not collect a cash deposit on such entries until further notice. The new rates are effective June 12, and will be implemented by CBP soon.

As such, Commerce will direct CBP to liquidate entries of merchandise from Nacobre and Golden Dragon without regard to AD duties, and will not collect a cash deposit on such entries until further notice. The Food and Drug Administration issued the June Interstate Certified Shellfish Shippers List (ICSSL). The ICSSL is published monthly for the information and use by food control officers, the seafood industry and other interested persons. The shippers listed have been certified by regulatory authorities in the U.S., Canada, Chile, Korea, Mexico and New Zealand under the uniform sanitation requirements of the National Shellfish Program.
The Food and Drug Administration may refuse imports of drug products manufactured at two RPG Life Sciences facilities in India, the agency said in a May 28 warning letter. An FDA inspection at the company’s facility in Navi Mumbai allegedly found current good manufacturing practice violations for active pharmaceutical ingredients. An inspection of RPG’s facility in Ankleshwar found violations of CGMP for finished pharmaceuticals, FDA said.

Between June 10 and June 14, the processing of some application Identifier PN (Periodic Daily Statement Debit Authorizations and/or Entry Summary Acceptance) transactions may be delayed, said CBP in a CSMS message (here). Not all PN transactions are affected, it said. Only PN transactions referencing a Periodic Daily Statement that cause a new June Periodic Monthly Statement number to be generated in district 27 (Los Angeles) will be delayed.
The Area Port of Seattle is revising its Resolution Request notice for missing entry summaries, said CBP in a June 10 Trade Information Notice. The revised Resolution Request will “add emphasis,” because filing of entry documents at summary is time-sensitive, and delays may negatively affect assessment of liquidated damages, CBP said. The new version of the request will apply to all entities filing entries and entry summaries at the Area Port of Seattle, it said.
