98% Successful Login Rate for CAPE, CBP Official Says

Over 55,000 members of the trade community have logged in to the Consolidated Administration and Processing of Entries tool to submit their refund claims for International Emergency Economic Powers Act tariffs paid on over 4 million imports, said Susan Thomas, executive assistant commissioner at CBP, in a video on CBP's LinkedIn account. She said there was a 98% successful log-in rate.

"So, if you haven't submitted yet, you can log in and submit now," she said.

The first phase of the CAPE tool is now available in ACE for importers and their brokers. CBP will be conducting two support calls for the trade community, on April 21 and April 28, at 1 p.m. ET each day, CBP said in a CSMS message. The call content will be the same each day, so interested registrants should select only one call to register for.
