The International Trade Administration is giving advance notice that it and the International Trade Commission will consider revoking certain antidumping duty orders in their automatic five year sunset reviews, which are scheduled to be initiated in August. The ITA and ITC will consider revoking the following AD orders:
The International Trade Administration is announcing the opportunity to request administrative reviews by July 31 for producers and exporters subject to 22 antidumping orders and 7 countervailing duty orders, as well as a suspended antidumping investigation, with July anniversary dates. Affected products include pasta, pipe fittings, PET film, etc.

The International Trade Administration and the International Trade Commission each issued notices initiating five-year Sunset Reviews of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on honey from Argentina (A-357-812), the AD duty order on honey from China (A-570-863), and the AD duty orders on steel concrete reinforcing bars from Belarus (A-822-804), China (A-570-860), Indonesia (A-560-811), Latvia (A-499-804), Moldova (A-841-804), Poland (A-455-803), and Ukraine (A-823-809).
The International Trade Administration issued the final results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar from India (A-533-810), which sets an AD cash deposit rate for two manufacturer/exporters. These rates, which are effective July 3, are expected to be implemented by CBP soon.

The Commerce Department announced a plan to open three more satellite locations of the Patent and Trademark Office in Dallas, Denver, and Silicon Valley. The three locations are in addition to the first satellite office set to open July 13 in Detroit. According to Commerce, the new offices will reduce the backlog of unexamined patents and speed up the overall process.
