Trump Issues Executive Order on China Fentanyl Tariff Cut, as Expected
President Donald Trump issued an executive order on Nov. 4 implementing a cut in the International Emergency Economic Powers Act fentanyl tariffs on China to 10%. The tariff cut takes effect Nov. 10, as expected (see 2511030005).

In a separate executive order, Trump extended the suspension of a 34% reciprocal tariff rate on China so that the reciprocal tariff on China will remain 10%. The extension lasts until Nov. 10, 2026.
