BIS Issues Proposed Rule on Support Documents for EAR Applications

The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security proposed a rule to change the support documents required to be submitted for license applications under the Export Administration Regulations. The proposal also would change the BIS role in documents for the Import Certificate and Delivery Verification system. Public comments on the proposal are due by June 9. International Trade Today will publish more information on this proposed rule in the coming days.
